Lord, forgive us for letting our worship turn into a routine and a way that we believe we are doing good enough. We don't want our 'good' works to be out of a response to earn our way to You or to look good to others. Free us from the chains of religion and lead us into the way of Your grace. Forgive our complacency in believing that we are somehow good enough. Jesus, we are so thankful that it is YOU that has done the saving work in our place, because apart from You, none of our 'good' deeds would ever make a way for life. Keep us from believing the enslaving lie that we have to be good enough when we start falling into the snare of failure and doubt.
Remind us of our value in You, Christ.
