God, thank you for the believers that you have placed in our lives. We lift them up to You and ask that you would strengthen their faith in You as well as our relationships with them. Thank you for all of the encouragement that You pour out on us through them. Even though it's tough to hear sometimes, thank you for giving them eyes to see our sin and the courage to confront us about it. We ask that you would bring more community around us; people that love You and want to serve You; people that edify your church and that want to build one another up. Thank you for being a common ground in the lives of so many people that would have never met, let alone been friends if it wasn't for Your grace.
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
I am so excited to also announce that the Weekly Prayer has been opened up to guest bloggers. I do understand that part of the reason that people visit or subscribe to a certain blog is to read from a certain person, but every other week there will be a new lady sharing here. I reached out to many women and am so excited to have guests scheduled all the way through next February, starting next week. Even though we may differ a bit theologically, all closed-fisted issues (like a Triune God and Jesus is Savior) are agreed upon. If this sounds like something you're interested in being a part of, contact me via email and we'll chat!
